(ABC 6 News) – Minnesota has been picked to partner with federal agencies in an effort to reduce homelessness.

As part of the partnership, the state will receive technical assistance to help connect those in need with resources, such as Medicaid.

Participants can also use Medicaid waivers to cover rental and utility assistance or transition costs, such as security deposits and rental application fees.
