(ABC 6 News) – Members of the Minnesota Republican Party called for the state to address the southern border crisis.
This follows a letter written by nine Democrat governors urging President Joe Biden and congress to pass legislation.
Governor Tim Walz, who is chair of the Democratic Governors Association, was absent from the request.
Members of the GOP asked the governor to consider all options available to support those impacted by the crisis and to secure the border.
