(ABC 6 News) – Every week, ABC 6 News highlights a different vendor at Thursday’s Downtown.

This week, its Sweet Potato Jewelry.

Owner Carolyn Peterson has been making sweet potato jewelry for roughly six years. Peterson and her husband recently moved back to Minnesota from North Carolina, where they won several artfests with their beads.

Thursdays Downtown is the first festival they ha’ve been to since they moved back to Minnesota.

“They loved the fact that it’s recycled paper. They love the fact that they are colorful. Each one is unique, each braclet is hand crafted. They love that they can buy one braclet to go with an outfit. They are great for people who have a hard time putting on braclets, because they are like a slinky braclet kind of, and we also sell children sizes as well,” Peterson said.

They will be back at thursday’s on August 11th.
