(ABC 6 News) – A man appeared in Olmsted County court on 4th- and 5th-degree criminal sexual conduct charges, after allegedly molesting a 17-year-old employee at the South Wendy’s restaurant in Rochester.

Dane Robert Nelson, 32, allegedly supervised the staff at the restaurant located at 2986 Highway 63 S in May of 2022.

Rochester police met with the teenaged girl on May 9, after she began working at the Wendy’s location on May 5.

According to court documents, the teenager worked May 5 to May 7, with Nelson as her supervisor and trainer, placing him in a position of authority over her.

According to the teenager, Nelson touched her inappropriately about 15 times over those three days, and told her how “pretty” she was.

Nelson currently lists a Faribault address.

His next court appearance is scheduled for April 11, 2023.
