ABC 6 NEWS — According to a post on the company’s Facebook page, Discount Warehouse, located in the Apache Mall in Rochester, is set to close at the end of February.

The post says that one of the owners of the store, “has been diagnosed with a rare terminal disease and can no longer work so wishes to now retire to enjoy what life has to offer.” That departure has led to staffing shortages, which the company says, makes it difficult to operate.

However, the company did add that the store would stay open if they could find new owners. At the end of their Facebook post, they say, “We currently have a few interested parties looking to buy, but no firm commitments as of yet.”
