(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester preschool and Childcare Center, Listos, will hold a Valentine’s Day Gala and Dance to celebrate learning, language and love.

The night will feature Latin American food, live music and a fundraising auction.

The goal is tot provide a fun immersive bilingual experience for adults.

“In a lot of Latin America, Valentine’s Day is more like friendship and love day, so its not just about a partner, its about those relationships like friendships and stuff like that that you build, so were centering that,” said Viridiana Anguiano, the program director at Listos.

The event will be held at Peace United Church from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9.

Tickets for the gala and dance cost $75, but tickets to just the dance cost $40.
