Gov. Walz invests $53 million to improve access to high-speed internet

(ABC 6 News) – Governor Tim Walz announced a $53 million investment to expand broadband in Minnesota, and some of that money will stretch into southeast Minnesota.

In Fillmore County, Mediacom will receive over $33,000. In Mower, Spectrum will get more than $400,000 and Arvig, a broadband company, will get just over $3.1 million.
