Dee Sabol departing Diversity Council position

(ABC 6 News) – The Board of the Diversity Council announced Monday that Executive Director Dee Sabol is leaving her position.

Sabol has been with the council since December 2015, leading several projects and initiatives in Rochester.

Dee has been involved in securing extensive funding for the Rochester community through the Project HEALINGS initiative for COVID vaccine awareness and the Bloomberg Mayor’s Challenge Co-Design project.

The Diversity Council is a Rochester-based non-profit that works towards easing the impact of bias, prejudice, and discrimination.

The council is starting the process of hiring a new executive director immediately.
