Child abduction alert in Iowa cleared, father arrested

(ABC 6 News) – An AMBER Alert was issued for an abducted child in Greene County, Iowa at around 3:45 p.m.

According to the Alert, 7-year-old Bryson Duong was abducted by Brandon Duong, a 34-year-old man.

Bryson is 3’8″, 60 lbs., has black hair and brown eyes. Bryson was last seen wearing a black coat with black snow pants, hat and glasses, according to the alert.

Brandon Duong was identified as an Asian man standing at 5’10”. He is approximately 135 lbs., has black hair and brown eyes.

Officers engaged in a high-speed chase with Duong, eventually ending in a crash.

Duong then ran on foot, carrying his son and a rifle.

Duong was eventually placed under arrest and faces first degree kidnapping.

The Alert has since been pulled.
