(ABC 6 News) – A local chef is doing his part to help Gage elementary students this Thanksgiving.

Youness Bojji, chef at Chez Bojji is going to welcome Gage elementary students into his restaurant on Tuesday to serve them a thanksgiving meal.

Bojji talks about how he received a phone call from a teacher to ask for his help – and after thinking it over – he said yes.

“They’re going to be sitting here like adults, you know, having juice in a glass of wine, an empty glass of wine full of juice, they’re going to get their own servers, they’re going to get somebody to clean after them, they’re going to get somebody to you know to treat them like they’re grown adults,” Youness Bojji said.

But that’s not the only thing that the students can look forward to.

Bojji is also hoping the Rochester community can help out by donating coats, gloves, and hats for these students.

Anyone interested is welcome to bring these items into Chez Bojji and they will be delivered to the school.
