A fast-moving, more compact clipper will move through southern Minnesota and northern Iowa Wednesday. Timing is late afternoon through evening. Amounts won’t be much, generally less than an inch. There may be a couple, isolated locations that receive between 1-2″. Thankfully, winds will be light and temperatures will be seasonably cold. It will be minor, but will be enough to make for some slick spots. It’s more of a sweep-able snow than shovel-able, although I’d guess some plows will be out keeping things nice and tidy.
