Mild, bright Thursday before some precipitation Friday

We’ve got another very quiet, mild day in store Thursday, then we see some much-needed change Friday. Highs will remain above average, even on a cooler and wet Friday with a chance of rain and snow. Thursday will see more cloud cover than the last couple of days, thanks to the approaching storm system. Rain becomes likely for some of us Friday, while others, especially directly west of Rochester, will likely be disappointed by a lack of precipitation. As cooler air joins the mix late Friday morning, it will be just cool enough for some snow to fall on the back side (western edge) of the system.
