The heaviest snow looks to fall early on Thursday, with the light & persistent snow continue Thursday night – Friday. Snowfall rates of 1″ per hour will be possible across portions of southeast & southcentral MN, mainly along the HWY 14 & HWY 52 locations Thursday morning-early afternoon. When it’s over, the 14 & 52 corridors could see upwards of 6-8″, with 2-6″ looking very favorable area-wide. The overall snowfall potential trend will be more to the north & less to the south. Watch out for the wind, mainly Thursday evening – Friday, as it begins to pick-up out of the NW, as the storm system exits the region.
