Quiet weekend with moderating temperatures

High pressure will build into the region leading to a quiet weekend with moderating temperatures.

Saturday will start cold with temperatures in the single digits and teens. Wind chills will be near or slightly below zero. High temperatures will climb to near 30° under a mostly sunny sky. However, it’ll be a blustery day with wind gusts up to 35 mph at times which will lead to wind chills likely in the teens throughout the day.

The wind will switch more to the west on Sunday and will be much lighter than Saturday.

It’ll be a sunny day with high temperatures a bit warmer in the mid-to-upper 30s.

Temperatures will continue to moderate into the 40s heading into next week.
