Powerful front bring cold, strong wind

A cold front arrives around sunset on Friday. A sharp uptick in the wind from the northwest will take over. Gusts will reach 40-45 mph at times Friday night.

Colder temperatures will abruptly arrive too. After reaching highs in the lower to upper 40s, we’ll all fall back into the single digits by Saturday morning. Wind will gradually ease towards sunrise, but will still be able to produce wind chills in the -5 to -10° range.
