Mild for now, big drop looms

Back to back days of 70s are ahead in the forecast but a potent cold front will swing through Wednesday evening. That will lead to readings dropping some 20° into the low to mid 50s by Thursday morning. Temperatures run stagnant thanks to a brisk northwest wind. The cooler airmass will help limit the temperature swing upwards on the day to only a degree or two.

Freezing conditions are likely for Friday morning and Saturday morning. Depending on the cloud situation, a hard freeze is possible which would end the growing season. Jury is still out on this scenario. For now we have lows near 30° each morning.
