Light rain and strong winds expected Thursday
The spring-like weather over the last several days will be coming to an end as cool temperatures will take hold as the week comes to an end.
Light rain will move out of the area by mid-morning, with a lull and sunshine as a storm system off to the west pulls in some dry air. Clouds will build back into the areas as the storm pulls further north sending a cold front through sometime after 3:00 PM with the chance of more light rain. A rumble or two of thunder is also possible.
It’ll also be a windy day with wind gusts up to 45 mph at times. Therefore, a WIND ADVISORY is in effect for the entire ABC 6 Weather First area until this evening. The wind will remain elevated through the night before gradually tapering off on Friday.
