Impacts From Our Mid-Week Storm

The strong winter storm will bring impacts to our area Tuesday evening through most of Thursday, possibly even into early Friday. The worst will be felt throughout the day Wednesday & Thursday. Heavy snow at times, ice south of I-90, & strong wind will be possible Tuesday evening – early Wednesday, prompting the ALERT DAY due to impacts to the travel scene. The ALERT DAY continues Wednesday evening – Thursday, as the heaviest snow looks to fall (especially along & north of Highway 14) along with a very strong ENE wind. This will cause very poor visibility, with whiteout conditions possible out in the open, along with drifting snow as well. Conditions will slowly improve through the day on Friday.
