Snow arrives south to north between 6 PM and 11 PM. When it arrives, we’ll quickly build up the intensity. We’ll dive right into the heavy stuff. Snowfall rates for a brief window through 4 AM will push 1-2″ per hour at times, but not constantly.
Snow will lighten up on Thursday morning. Most of our accumulations will be seen by mid-morning. Snow showers will extend into the afternoon and even evening for some.
In total, 5-8″ area wide is expected.
Wind is a touch breezy but not up to a threshold to drastically alter the conditions. Gusts from the NW reach 20-25 mph Thursday afternoon.
Driving will be most difficult overnight as the heaviest snow falls. Snow covered roads will be common. Visibility will also drop sharply under the heaviest snow bands.
