Clouds, fog, chilly temperatures into the weekend

The weather pattern remains stubborn heading into the weekend with a rinse and repeat of the last several days as clouds and fog will be likely.

Fog will be locally dense on Friday morning with areas of drizzle. However, along and south of I-90 will be a better chance for more of a steadier rain with some snow mixed in at times.

Clouds will remain overhead throughout the weekend, however some breaks are possible heading into Sunday afternoon as drier air tries to work its way in.

Fog will become more patchy heading into Friday afternoon before it returns on Saturday morning. Temperatures will be near or below the freezing mark (32°) for most areas, so there is the potential of some freezing fog which may lead to some icy spots on any untreated surfaces.

Patchy fog is again possible heading into Sunday morning.

Overall, high temperatures will be in the mid-30s with night lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
