Brief cool spell to end the week with warming into weekend

Chilly Canadian air will make its way into the area as the week comes to an end, however it’ll be brief as temperatures will be back on the upswing heading into the weekend.

Thursday will be another mild day with sunshine and high temperatures in the low-to-mid 50s. It’ll also be breezy at times with a west-to-northwest wind gusting up to 25 mph.

A cold front slides through Thursday night into Friday with chilly air to follow. High temperatures will only manage the mid-to-upper 30s. Scattered flurries are also possible on Friday along with a partly sunny sky.

High pressure builds in over the weekend leading to a mostly sunny Saturday and Sunday. The wind will turn to the southwest on Saturday with temperatures bouncing back into the low 40s for highs and upper 40s likely on Sunday.
