Back at it with snow

Snow returns on Saturday. Very similar in impacts compared to Thursday into the overnight, another shot of moderate intensity snow through the afternoon and overnight will amount to 1-4″ of accumulation. Initially, accumulations will struggle to stay put with the power of the March sun behind the clouds, but it will happen after the afternoon goes on. Worst of the travel conditions will be in the evening and overnight.

A few snow showers will continue to pop up on Sunday, although minimal impact will result from this activity. Clouds otherwise hold.

Monday is a break from the action but we’ll have cooler temperatures, especially into Monday night where single digits appear likely. The cool snap is short lived. By the middle of the week, we’ll be pushing the mid 40s, widespread melting and a breezy south wind.
