Cloudy, But Quiet Today; TGIF!

Clouds continue to hold for our “Finally Friday”. Other than that, it will remain a pretty quiet day, with highs back in the middle to upper 30s for most of the area. A few communities may see the lower 40s this afternoon.

While the weather pattern will become a little active over the weekend & into early next week, it will be brushes with both light rain & snow showers at times.

A flurry or two will be possible with Friday’s cloud cover, but it’s Saturday, Sunday, & Monday that will yield the better opportunity for the light rain/snow shower chances. Each afternoon looks more favorable, with minor snowfall accumulations & impacts to the travel scene the result. A light wintry mix will be possible as we transition to rain showers, especially throughout Sunday afternoon into early Monday morning.

Temperatures are staying put in the middle to upper 30s through the weekend & into early next week, the reason behind the wintry mix at times, and not just all-rain or all-snow.
