Another foggy morning coming, mostly dry week ahead

No, this is not a copy and paste of the forecast from Saturday. In fact, some of the fog from Saturday night and Sunday morning continues to linger. We have another Dense Fog Advisory already in place starting Sunday evening and carrying through Monday morning. Some counties are already under the Dense Fog Advisory. This fog will be dense on the morning commute, and you will need to give yourself extra time.

Temperatures are in the mid to upper-20s early, with the highest of them being north of the Minnesota/Iowa border. We are back into the mid-30s Monday afternoon.

Our only chance for rain or snow this week is an isolated snow shower late Monday into early Tuesday. This would not cause any impacts, and this activity is more likely to stay to our northeast. The rest of this week is trending dry.

High pressure will move close by the middle of the work week behind a very weak cold front, allowing us to absorb all sorts of sunshine. Wednesday is trending to be the sunniest day of the week. We will climb into the 40s later this week, which will expedite melting snow.
