A Powerful November Storm System

A very strong storm system will sweep through the Northern Plains this week, bringing three different seasons in just a few days for the Weather First Viewing Area. Ahead of this storm, a strong south wind will boost highs into the mid 60s for Wed. & Thu., fueling our atmosphere with enough instability for a few t-storms early & later on Wednesday, then again Thursday afternoon. Thursday’s storms will be the result of a very strong cold front, strong enough & dynamic enough where we could see a few strong, possibly even late-season severe storms. This front will also drop highs from the summer-like 60s to the winter-like 30s for Friday, allowing for a few flurries to fly!
