A Needed Soaker On The Way
We have been extremely dry as of late, so the rain that will move in late Thursday night, lasting through Saturday, will certainly be a welcome sight. A nice soak is in store for the area, with the higher rainfall totals lining up along & especially east of Highway 52. November 5th marks the date for our average first dusting of snow, which we’ve already picked up back on October 14. This slow-moving system will not only stall to the east, but it looks to retrograde, move backwards, early on Saturday, drawing in the cooler air & more moisture over our area, resulting in a few snowflakes mixing in with the rain from 8 AM – Noon on Saturday. Accumulations are not expected. Rain will be on the way out by Saturday evening.
