(ABC 6 News) – Tuesday, members of all branches of the military were recognized at the Minnesota State Fair.
The Minnesota State Fair’s tenth Military Appreciation Day provides an educational opportunity for all fairgoers to learn about Minnesota’s military community. This year’s theme is honoring the service of the past, present, and future.
Gov. Tim Walz and other elected leaders attended the opening ceremony for the fair’s "Military Appreciation Day" event at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell.
The governor also spoke on several other issues including Covid-19, vaccines incentives, mandates, the state budget, and the governor’s bid for reelection.
