(ABC 6 News) – The U.S. Marshals office is renewing its push to find a fugitive on the most wanted list. It’s a cold case now 23 years unsolved.
John Ruffo, a former computer salesman from Brooklyn was convicted of scamming $353 million from U.S. banks. Ruffo pleaded guilty in 1998, received a 17-year prison sentence but then never showed up to serve his sentence.
Sunny Hostin, one of the hosts on ABC’s “The View”, also hosts a popular podcast called ‘Have you seen this man’ went in-depth on the case and why the focus is on him now.
