(ABC 6 News) – Medical professionals across the country are acknowledging the difficult position parents are placed in when it comes to deciding on a COVID vaccine for their children.

Researchers at Johns Hopkins have been given $1.5 million from the National Institutes of Health to better understand families’ perception of public health and recommendations during the pandemic.

Dr. Sarah Johnson, Director of Rales Center and an Associate professor at John Hopkins University of School of Medicine went in-depth to break down the premise behind the research and why there’s a need for it.
