William Hall was found dead in his home on October 13.

Upon reviewing security video and conducting interviews, police believe Hall was surprised by a group of young men who had come to his house with the intent to steal from him. During the encounter, Hall was pushed down and when he tried to get back up he was hit in the face. Police said this left him seriously injured and would be later found dead in that area.
