Sheriff’s office still looking for answers 3 years after woman’s death

(ABC 6 News) – The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate after an incident with an intruder led to a woman’s death in rural Mankato.

February 23 marks three years since an intruder went into Evelyn Adams’ home in South Bend Township during a severe winter storm. Evelyn died several days later as a result of her injuries.

"Evelyn was cherished by her family and friends and those that knew her still want answers."

The Sheriff’s Office has some insight into what happened that day but still needs the public’s help. If you have any information, you could help bring closure to Evelyn’s loved ones.

There is a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
