Salvation Army hosts annual Christmas Day Meal

(ABC 6 News) – The Salvation Army in Rochester hosted its annual Christmas Dinner on Saturday for anyone to come by and enjoy a warm meal this Christmas.

This year it was a classic Italian meal, thanks to Pasquale’s Neighborhood Pizzeria in Rochester.

All were welcome to enjoy authentic Italian food made by Pasquale himself who was back in the kitchen cooking these meals as they were being served on Christmas.

"Well because we love it, we have a great team, we have friends that came down to help. So, it’s one community, one heart, we help each other," Pasquale Presa, owner of Pasquale’s Neighborhood Pizzeria, said.

Pasquale’s and volunteers prepared over 200 meals from calzones to stromboli to give back to the community and put a smile on people’s faces on Christmas Day this year.
