RPS sees a decline in cases for second week in a row

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Rochester Public School District saw a decline in cases for a second week in a row, according to the RPS COVID-19 Dashboard data.

The new data is from October 18 to October 24.

During that time, the district saw 36 new positive cases. There were 56 new cases the week before.

There were 14 in grades PreK through 5th, 16 in 6th through 12th, and 6 in staff.

68 people were asked to quarantine.

Of the new positive cases, 80.5% of the cases were among those who are not vaccinated.
