RPD: Man stabbed several times, one arrested in relation

(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man has been arrested after police said he stabbed another man several times during a fight.

The Rochester Police Department said a 26-year-old Rochester man had arrived at the ER at Saint Marys Friday morning just before 3 a.m.

During the investigation, officers learned the man was at an apartment complex on the 900 block of 11th Ave NW when he got into a fight with 20-year-old Trashun Haywood. Police said the man was stabbed three times in the neck, arm and stomach. He is expected to survive.

Haywood was arrested around 9 a.m. the same day. Haywood was charged in Olmsted County Court Monday with 1st- and 2nd-degree assault.

He is scheduled to be back in court on the January 6.
