RPD called to help clear group of roughly 100 juveniles from YMCA on its last day

(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Police Department was called to the YMCA Monday night to help remove a group of about 100 juveniles who had become an issue for staff.

Just before 8 p.m. officers were called to the YMCA by staff to help remove the group of juveniles after they had reportedly pulled fire alarms and damaged the men’s locker room.

A handful of officers responded and helped clear the building. No charges have been filed as of Tuesday morning.

Police were not able to provide an age range for the group of juveniles.

Monday was the YMCA’s final day being open.
