Rochester YMCA to hold community celebration

(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Area Family YMCA is hosting a community celebration before the facility closes at the end of January.
The Y announced its permanent closure in early January and now would like to invite the public to join in fun activities and share experiences, memories, and how the Y has made an impact on their lives.

The celebration will be held January 28 – 30 and the scheduled events are below:
Friday, January 28
- Open to the Community Hours: 5pm-8pm
- Open Gymnasium: 5pm-8pm
- Open Swim: 5pm-8pm
- Racquetball*: 5pm-8pm
Saturday, January 29
- Open to the Community Hours: 12pm-5pm
- Open Gymnasium: 12pm-5pm
- Open Swim: 12pm-5pm
- Water Exercise Class*: 9:15am-10am
- Group Fitness*: 12pm-2pm
- Pickleball: 12pm-5pm
- Racquetball*: 12pm-5pm
- Former Team Members and YMCA Volunteer Reunion: 10am-12pm
Sunday, January 30
- Open to the Community Hours: 12pm-5pm
- Open Gymnasium: 12pm-5pm
- Open Swim 12pm-5pm
- Group Fitness*: 12pm-2pm
- Pickleball: 12pm-5pm
- Racquetball*: 12pm-5pm
- New Day Church Service: 10am-11am
*Reservations are required and will be open 72 hours prior the event.
