(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Public library is offering cold-weather gear to anyone that needs them for free.
You can stop by the library or the bookmobile to pick up items like gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves.
"It’s no questions asked, anyone who has that need can take a hat, a pair of gloves, or a scarf if they need it. So it’s just a great self-service program and individuals can get what they need when it’s cold outside," Karen Lemke, Marketing and Community Engagement, Rochester Public Library.
They’re also accepting new or gently used items. Lemke said they’re especially in need of adult-sized hats, gloves, and scarves saying any help the community can give will help.
