(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Grizzlies have been one of the hottest teams in the NA3HL, closing the regular season on a five-game winning streak.

The team began their quest for a championship as they hosted the Wausau Cyclones in the central division semifinal round of the Fraser Cup Playoffs.

Grizzlies took an early 2-0 lead in the first period but the Cyclones rallied back and tied the game in the second period.

Grizzlies would retake the lead in the middle of the second period and added two more goals in the third period en route to a 5-3 victory.

They will look to close out the series Saturday night in Wausau.
