Pedestrian sent to hospital after getting hit by car in Rochester

(ABC 6 News) — A Rochester man was sent to the hospital after he got hit by a car Monday night.
It happened at the intersection of 12 St. SE and 11 Ave SE around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27.
Rochester Police Captain Casey Moilanen said a 45-year-old Rochester man was crossing the street, when he was hit by a Toyota Prius, driven by a 43-year-old Rochester man.
Capt. Moilanen said the car had a green light, and the pedestrian was not crossing properly. The pedestrian was brought to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Capt. Moilanen also said officers believed the pedestrian had been drinking after he was given a field sobriety test.
