One dead after car rollover in Goodhue County

(ABC 6 News) – One person has died after a car rolled over Saturday afternoon in Goodhue County.

It happened on Highway 57 in Cherry Grove Township, which is just outside of Kenyon.

A 2016 Jeep Compass was traveling southbound when it left the roadway and rolled. The driver, a female in her 30s, and the passenger, a male also in his 30s, were both transported to St Marys campus with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other passenger, 29-year-old Ashley Gomez, died. It is believed she was not wearing her seatbelt.

All three individuals involved in the crash are from Texas.
