(ABC 6 News) – A young Olmsted County woman is suing the YMCA, claiming she was sexually assaulted at the Rochester location multiple times in 2018.

The criminal complaint states the girl was repeatedly pulled into locker rooms and restrooms and assaulted by a boy she frequented the YMCA’s programs with, they were both 15 at the time.

The young woman, who is now 18, is saying the YMCA failed to protect her while she was entrusted to its care as a minor.

The lawsuit names the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities because the Rochester YMCA has since closed.
