ABC 6 News) – Two nonprofits in Minnesota are teaming up to bring together families from greater Minnesota with unique experiences.

Families with adopted or foster children had the opportunity to visit Air Insanity Trampoline Park in Rochester for free on Sunday.

Children’s Home Society and Lutheran Social Services are traveling throughout greater Minnesota hosting events so families parenting through foster care or adoption can meet up and bond while having some fun.

"It’s difficult to find that connection: that true genuine in-person connection with families that get it. Because this is a different kind of parenting and a different type of family-style. It’s a unique experience so we’ve taken that feedback and tried to develop a program where families can have that in-person connection," Julie Marka, the education manager for the nonprofits, said.
