Man sent to hospital after assault in Byron

(ABC 6 News) — A 25-year-old man was sent to the hospital after he told deputies that two men showed up at his house and assaulted him.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10 on the 400 block of 4th Ave NE in Byron. According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, when deputies got there, the victim had injuries to his face, including broken teeth.

The victim told deputies that two men that he knows showed up at his house and started arguing with him about money. The victim says the men claimed he owed them money, while the victim claims he already paid them. He said the men used "pipe-type" objects and began assaulting him. A neighbor got home and yelled at the men, and they took off.

Authorities are still searching for the suspects. The victim was taken to the hospital.
