Man airlifted to hospital after rollover crash

(ABC 6 NEWS) – A single-vehicle crash in Fillmore County has sent a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 40-year-old Thomas Monson was driving eastbound on Highway 44 when his 2003 Buick Lesabre went off the road and rolled over.

Multiple agencies responded to the crash such as the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office, Mabel Fire & Ambulance, and Gundersen Air Medical.

Monson was airlifted to Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin in critical condition.

The Minnesota State Patrol says that Monson was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and it is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
