Man accused in DWI crash, domestic assault incident pleads not guilty

(ABC 6 News) – A man accused of driving while intoxicated and getting into a crash after being involved in a domestic assault incident has entered a not guilty plea for the five charges he is facing.

In January of 2020, James Wilder allegedly assaulted a woman and then got into a crash with her.

Police said Wilder appeared intoxicated. He reportedly blew a .21% BAC at the jail after being arrested.

In court Wednesday, Wilder pled not guilty to 2nd-degree assault, harassment, domestic assault, criminal vehicular operation and DWI.

Wilder is scheduled to be back in court or a settlement conference on November 19.
