(ABC 6 News) – A lot of events were canceled last year because of the pandemic, and now, The Days of Yesteryear are back!
On Saturday, there was a parade of old tractors and people spent the day enjoying themselves at the Ralph Stoppel Farmstead.
It felt like you were taking a step back in time seeing all of the tractors. This event is to celebrate all things agriculture!
"When we had the equipment lined up and the equipment set, we really didn’t know if anyone was going to come. But here we are, the lunchroom was full all through the lunch hour, so I think things are going well and we really didn’t drop off that much from last year," Ted Kueker, a Mechanical History Roundtable member said.
The event has been going on for over 40 years and will continue Sunday.
Ted Kueker grew up on a farm and he says seeing all of the tractors is a nostalgic feeling for him, he even drove a tractor in the parade!
