Authorities release the names of the two juveniles killed in Winneshiek County Crash

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Iowa State Patrol has released the names of the two juveniles killed in a single-vehicle crash in Winneshiek County Friday night.

The crash report states 18-year-old Dalton Hemesath of Ridgeway, Iowa, and 18-year-old Karter Einck of Decorah, Iowa were the juveniles killed.

Authorities say they were transported to the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, Iowa.

17-year-olds Emmitt Stemper and Brendan Hunter along with 18-year-old David Kfeitzer were injured in the crash.

The five juveniles were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

(ABC 6 NEWS) – Two juveniles have died and three others are injured following a single-vehicle crash in Winneshiek county Friday night.

The Iowa State Patrol says a 2000 Ford Explorer was northbound on county road W-14 near Pole Line Road when the Explorer lost control and entered a ditch.

They say this crash caused the explorer to roll over three times.

Two juveniles in the car died, the other three juveniles have serious injuries.

The names of the juveniles are not being released at this time.

The Iowa State Patrol and the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

The crash happened near Ridgeway, Iowa.
