Albert Lea falls to Mayo in regular season finale, other scores

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The next time the Albert Lea and Rochester Mayo boys basketball teams take the floor, it will be win or go home.
But on Friday night, the Big 9 conference foes faced off in a battle of bragging rights.
The Spartans got off to a hot start in the first half with the opening points, but Albert Lea answered with a run of their own to take the lead.
Eventually, Mayo settled down and reclaimed the lead. They went on to win 72 to 63. Kairee Gadson led the Spartans with 18 points; Yaih Marial and Makuei Reik both had 15 points
