(ABC 6 News) – Community Celebration Church in Kasson prepares a Thanksgiving meal for the community.

Volunteers will serve traditional Thanksgiving dishes from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. tomorrow.

The church will offer the meal completely free. The church invites anyone in the community to stop by and get a bite to eat.

It is the first year the church has held the meals since the COVID-19 pandemic and they felt it was time to start the tradition back up again.

“We’re holding this because it’s very important that people connect and we just wanna provide a welcoming environment for people to make those connections and also have a good meal with it,” said pastor Tami Gronseth.

Community Celebration Church expects around 200 people tomorrow, but don’t worry, they tell us that there will be plenty of food for everyone.
