Burglary at Shack Bar in Dover; thousands of dollars in damage

(ABC 6 News) — The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after someone broke into the Shack Bar in Dover.

When the bar owner got in around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, she called police when noticed her business had been broken into overnight. Someone stole around $1,000 and caused several thousand dollars worth of damage.

A pull tab machine was damaged, as well as the front door. There is also a tazer gun missing. The owner said while she’s frustrated, she knows it could have been worse. She says she’s been there for 18 years and has never had someone try to break in.
